About the Partner

The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) is the largest public institution dedicated to scientific and technical research in Spain and the third-largest in Europe. Operating under the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, CSIC manages over 120 research institutes across the country, covering a broad spectrum of disciplines, from fundamental sciences and engineering to humanities and social sciences. With a multi-disciplinary workforce, including some of Spain’s most prominent scientists, CSIC plays a pivotal role in generating knowledge, fostering innovation, and contributing to evidence-based policy at national and international level.

Role in the FEATURE

Leader of WP3 Αnimal performance: The CSIC team in Feature has great experitse in ruminants nutrition, the evaluation of alternarive feeds using a range of in vitro and in vivo approaches. In FEATURE CSIC will evaluate agro-indsutrial co-products in dairy sheep and dairy goats Mediterranean systems.
